Forefront Communications

Are you a great writer with a dedication to the craft and an eagerness to learn new things? Do you enjoy using social and digital marketing tools to tell compelling stories and keep people informed? What about the camaraderie of being on a collaborative team of driven professionals at a rapidly growing agency? If yes, then keep reading.

Located in the Flatiron District of New York City, Forefront is a specialized marketing and PR firm that services the most influential companies in the capital markets and institutional fintech. We apply deep sector knowledge, decades of in-house experience and extensive industry connections in developing highly strategic, bespoke programs that help clients grow, regardless of their lifecycle stage.

We’re looking for star writers and marketers with up to 2 years of experience, preferably those who bring experience in journalism or business settings. While the Associate role is Forefront’s entry-level position, successful applicants will find they serve one of the most crucial roles at the agency – keeping the machinery of their accounts turning by ensuring their colleagues remain on task and that deliverables are completed on time and at our high level of quality. In addition, Associates will be exposed to and expected to learn the basics of Forefront’s three practice areas: media relations, digital marketing and content. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and social platforms is required, and hands-on experience with tools like MailChimp, HubSpot, WordPress, Google Workspace and the Adobe Creative Suite is a big plus.

This is a full-time position that includes a full benefits package and a great work environment that balances the flexibility and productivity of remote work with the cohesiveness and collaboration that comes from being together as a team. Compensation for this role includes a base salary of $55k – $65k, participation in Forefront’s profit-sharing program and opportunity for additional incentive compensation.

Forefront is a five-time Bulldog PR Award winner, most recently for Most Innovative Agency (Silver) and Best B2B Agency (Bronze). Forefront was just named a 2021 Top Boutique PR Agency by Insider, and was one of six agencies named to Observer’s prestigious Financial PR Honor Roll, spotlighting the most influential firms serving the financial services industry. The New York-based publication noted that “the agency punches way above its weight,” helping it build an impressive roster of clients. Forefront campaigns have also been recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and PRNEWS’ Platinum PR Awards.
