Kathy is a veteran journalist who spent more than two decades covering many of the biggest news stories of our time. Most recently, she worked as a contributing news editor for TIME, overseeing obituary coverage and writing and editing stories related to the 2020 election, COVID-19 pandemic, racial justice movement, Donald Trump presidency and various books, culture and business-related topics. She previously contributed to PEOPLE Magazine for more than 15 years, most recently serving as digital politics and sports editor. Kathy was also a longtime breaking news reporter for the publication, interviewing many top newsmakers and celebrities. She began her career as a general assignment reporter for the Lynn Item and Patriot Ledger, both highly respected daily newspapers in the metro Boston area.
Kathy joined Forefront Communications as a senior consultant in 2019 after cheering it on from the sidelines since its inception. She is proud to head up the firm’s nonprofit practice.
