Multi-asset trading tech and brokerage service provider Dash Financial has launched a new liquidity aggregation algorithm, designed to provide traders with increased transparency and access to dark liquidity.
The Sensor Dark algorithm allows access to multiple private trading venues across US equities, including independent brokers, broker-operated pools, exchange hidden liquidity and conditional pools.
The aggregator is part of Sensor – Dash’s suite of multi-asset class order routing algorithms.
The move is part of a growing trend of trading tech providers investing into algorithmic execution, driven in part by increased best execution requirements under Mifid II.
Amid this landscape, several firms have launched algorithmic execution tools for equities traders. Meanwhile, funds with large trading desks, trading across multiple asset classes, have also developed in-house tools for algorithmic execution.
