Forefront Communications

Forefront Communications is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Public Relations Specialist to join our rapidly growing agency. Candidates must have 4+ years of corporate communications experience in the capital markets, fintech or digital asset sectors.

 

Deep media and analyst relationships are a requirement, and experience with and the understanding of a broad range of marcomms programs including client communications, thought leadership, digital marketing and social media is a big plus.

Located in the Flatiron District of New York City, Forefront is a specialized marketing and PR firm that services the most influential companies in the capital markets and institutional fintech. We apply deep sector knowledge, decades of in-house experience and extensive industry connections in developing highly strategic, bespoke programs that help clients grow, regardless of their lifecycle stage.

This is a full-time position that includes a full benefits package and a great work environment. We ask that employees spend at least two days a week in the office (Wednesdays and Thursdays).

DETAILS

  • Develop, manage and execute on PR programs for multiple client accounts, nearly all of whom will have highly technical businesses
  • Write and edit press releases, media pitches, social media posts and various other types of corporate communications
  • Establish and maintain relationships with top tier financial and fintech media contacts
  • Develop PR plans
  • Track, report on and promote client media coverage
  • Participate in business development/sales activities
  • Excellent writer and editor
  • Superior verbal presentation and pitch skills
  • Highly organized
  • Deep media relationships and in-depth knowledge of how journalists work
  • Active on social media (LinkedIn and Twitter in particular)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrable track record of raising a company’s media profile
  • Willingness to roll-up sleeves to get things done, which means occasional night and weekend work
  • Ability to work well collaboratively with teammates
  • Excellent references
